Constant, ultra-quiet temperature control for a compact private mastering room built around critical listening and a rare working record cutter.
The acoustic solution
In a small mastering room, the listening position, acoustic treatment and specialist equipment leave little tolerance for intrusive airflow or mechanical noise. The installation also had limited access, making the route and unit position unusually demanding.
We developed a bespoke concealed ducted system that maintains a constant, comfortable temperature through long mastering sessions. Careful isolation prevents vibration transfer, with the completed system achieving NR20 without compromising the room or its record-cutting setup.
